We’re exceedingly proud of the recent opportunity we’ve had to help out the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) by contributing a solar donation to two of their bases.
The Power of Saving Energy
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) is an organisation that operates emergency retrieval services across Queensland. This amazing group provides care to Queensland residents every year and does everything from transferring surgical patients to their operations, to providing health education and services to rural areas.
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) is operated by hundreds of doctors, nurses, pilots, health professionals and other amazing staff members who provide critical assistance to patients, families and communities across Queensland.
Naturally, we jumped at the opportunity to donate two full solar arrays to the organisation, one of which will be located at their Mount Isa base, the other at their Roma Base.
The CEO of the organisation, Meredith Staib, says that the donated solar arrays will help the Roma and Mount Isa bases “save money on energy costs, which can [then] be put back into saving lives of people right across Queensland.”
We’re so grateful for the opportunity not only to introduce more solar energy systems into Queensland but also to help the organisation continue their mission to provide health education and assistance to regional, rural and remote communities.
